Mrs. Wolcott America 2018, Stacy Perrone-Petta, visited The Watermark at East Hill to talk about Patriots’ Day, which has recently been made an official state holiday. Patriots’ Day will be taking place in Connecticut on April 16th. Mrs. Perrone-Petta talked to residents about her efforts with state elected officials to designate the day a state holiday, as well as her professional experience as a vocal coach. Residents learned about her background and about her experience traveling all around the state as a former Miss Connecticut.
Residents enjoyed a medley of songs sung by Mrs. Wolcott including some patriotic tunes. Many joined in on singing songs such as America the Beautiful and My Country ‘Tis of Thee. It was a very enjoyable afternoon had by all.
Mrs. Perrone-Petta will be competing in the Mrs. Connecticut America Pageant in May. Best wishes on behalf of everyone at The Watermark at East Hill!
