Go back to Life at The Watermark

Grateful Mom and Dad had such good care at The Watermark.

Dear David,

I requested your name and contact information from Connie the director so that you could hear straight from the daughter of a resident who recently passed.

After much research 8 years ago, I made the decision, with my parents, that they would relocate to the Watermark at East Hill to be closer to me.

My Dad passed two years ago after a long decline due to Parkinson’s disease and my mother just recently died in a fatal car crash.

In their eight year of their tenancy there I got to know the staff very well. My experience has been overwhelmingly positive. Connie Haworth, the executive Director, showed such concern and caring in all of my interactions with her as did so many of the staff members. I am grateful to have had these last years with my Mom and Dad close by and I was grateful to have them in such good care.

I want to single out Denise Julian for her compassion, dedication and unwavering professionalism with which she does her job every day. If you have not had the pleasure of watching her in action, you have missed an amazing testament to your company’s great strength, its staff. She worked with my mother through my father’s illness, worked with both of us in his passing. She is a credit to her profession and takes the care of her residents very much to heart. My gratitude to her is beyond what I can state in this letter. She is a rare gem and you are lucky to have her.

Thank you David for all your company has done for my family and for the wonderful directors you put in place to make it a good experience for my parents and me.
