On July 20th, 2016, the Voices wrote a wonderful article about our Food Service Director Jim Bain, the recipient of the Illuminating Excellence Award in the Continuum of Care category from Premier Food Services. To read the article, please click here.
Mr. Bain has been with The Watermark for 24 years and has taken on many community initiatives, one of those being an intergenerational program between residents and Boy Scout troops. When he’s not whipping up delicious and healthy meals for our residents, he is competing in recipe competitions and hosting cooking events. It came at no surprise to The Watermark that he was up for this award.
“Jim goes above and beyond with every opportunity possible, from giving our residents a unique dining experience to forming those intergenerational bonds with young people,” said Connie Haworth, executive director at The Watermark at East Hill.
“We are so proud to have him represent The Watermark at East Hill and on behalf of all of our residents and staff, I’d like to extend my congratulations for this well-deserved award.”
