Are you having trouble sleeping? Are you becoming tired earlier in the day? Waking up more often during the night? Enjoying a less-deep sleep? If you answered yes to any of those questions, then you could be one of the 70 million people in the United States living with a sleep disorder.
Here at The Watermark at East Hill, we recognize that some degree of difficulty sleeping may affect everyone, no matter what your age. In order to help our residents and guests learn more about ways they can improve their daily “zzz’s” we will be bringing in a sleep disorder expert from Danbury Hospital to discuss signs, symptoms and treatment options for people who aren’t getting the best sleep.
Dr. Douglas Kahn will be visiting The Watermark on Thursday, October 23rd for his lecture, which will include a discussion on the various changes in sleeping patterns that often occur as people age. Dr. Kahn’s expert perspective will give all attendees a better understanding on how to get a great night sleep, and he’ll be available to answer specific questions from members of the audience.
Dr. Kahn’s lecture is part of the Watermark University program – a continuing education program at The Watermark designed to help keep seniors’ minds and bodies active. This event is free and open to the public – to reserve a seat or for more information, give us a call at 1-203-262-6868.
Hope to see you there!
